About Scenic Strip Stays
A short guide to upscale Las Vegas hotels on and around the Strip, and how the site behind it works.
What the site covers
Scenic Strip Stays covers a small set of upscale hotels along Las Vegas Boulevard. The focus is narrow on purpose: rooms and suites, views over the Strip, pools, spas, dining and the practical question of where along the boulevard to base a stay. Each hotel is placed in one of three stretches, Center Strip, North Strip or South Strip, so that the differences in location are visible before any booking page is opened. The supporting notes on the home page describe how those stretches differ and what to consider when choosing between them.
How hotels are chosen
Entries are selected on stated criteria rather than on opinion. A hotel appears here when it is a long-established property on or immediately beside the Strip, positions itself at the upper end of the market, offers a spa and a pool of its own, and has a distinct character in at least one of the areas this site cares about, such as suite-led accommodation, notable dining or an unusual setting within a larger complex. The list is kept short so that each entry can be described accurately. Facility chips reflect what a hotel is generally known to offer, and descriptions stick to what a property is, where it sits and what it is recognised for. Where a detail cannot be stated with confidence, it is left out rather than guessed.
How the site is funded
The site is funded by advertising and by commission on outbound links. When a visitor follows a "Check availability" button or the header search link to a booking site and completes a reservation, Scenic Strip Stays may receive a payment from that booking site. This does not change the price the visitor pays, and it does not influence which hotels are listed or how they are described. Any entry that has been paid for as an advertisement carries an "Ad" badge on its card so that it can be told apart from the rest.
Independence
Scenic Strip Stays is independent of the hotels it lists and of the booking sites it links to. It is not owned by, operated by or affiliated with any hotel group, resort or travel agency, and nothing on the site should be read as an endorsement by any of them. Hotel names and images are used to identify each property and belong to their respective owners. Rates, availability, fees and terms of stay are set by the hotel and the booking site, and the booking page is the authoritative source for all of them.
Keeping the site accurate
Hotels change hands, rename themselves and alter their facilities. If something on this site no longer matches what a hotel offers, the contact page is the quickest way to flag it, and corrections are made once they have been checked against the hotel's own published information.
